I think i just went through 100 pages in the #teen-wolf tag. Based on what i’ve seen, i shall give you unpopular opinions in hopes of gaining like-minded blogs to follow because i seriously don’t ever want to go through the main tag again.

Please tell me to follow you if we seem to have the same fucked up tastes. (Includes 2x07 spoilers)

• Mama Argent is one of the greatest people on planet Earth and bakes better cookies than you.
• Anyone who hates Mr. Harris should sprain an ankle
• I’m glad Erica finally got character development that wasn’t strutting like she’s better than everyone then failing completely
• I have no strong feelings over Stiles/Erica, but at least it has more basis for an actual ship than Stiles/Derek ever did. Stop bitching.
• Scott needs to stop pretending to be Allison’s babysitter
• Jackson is flawed and broken but completely awesome
• I miss Peter
• If he can come back why can’t Laura?
• I don’t get previews for next week having Derek’s pups in one lust-filled pup orgy. I prefer my werewolves acting more like wolves than underage humans. Alpha female Jackson shouldn’t be rubbing against his Beta and Omega. Where’s Derek?
• I want Lydia to be queen of the world and i don’t believe fans should call her a bitch just because she’s not interested in Stiles the way they are.
• Scott: “I’ll join your pack but we do things my way even tho you’re a born werewolf and Alpha and i’ve just been a fail werewolf for like 4 months.” lol k

#jerek is a lost cause, too bad since people don’t really know how otherwise to tag the pairing. I’m tracking both derekjackson and derek x jackson, but there’s not much going on there (or are we really just such a rare breed among the TW fandom?)

Heh, we might be rare. A couple people i followed last year for it have since jumped ship because of “peer pressure” or so more fans would read their fics. I feel bad for not keeping up with the fandom in the hiatus. I know someone on #jerek was asking for other pairing name suggestions. Dackson/Deckson or Halemore doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue but it could work.

Jeezus! What the fuck happened to the #jerek tag? It’s all Beiber now. Has it been that long since i checked it?

So, for anything of value, i have to do a full #teen-wolf search and blacklist “sterek” so i don’t get agita. Ship whatever you want peacefully; i just still cannot see any basis for it or scenes with sexual tension. Would i like to see them as reluctant best buds because Stiles finally got sick of Scott’s asininity? Yes. Do i personally see anything that remotely compares to the Derek/Jackson scenes of last season? No.

Meanwhile: Did they write 2x02 before the premiere? What part of “your body is rejecting the bite” didn’t Jackson understand? And why was most of his personality character development erased?

While around the subject: Derek is turning into a bit of a neglectful Alpha like his uncle. Give people a bite, pat them on the head, good luck dealing on your own. After the realization with Jackson, he should’ve told him more or tried to figure it out or offered to watch him during the full moon. I mean, Jackson was his first potential packmate hours after he leveled up. You’d think a wolf instinct to protect that investment would kick in. Or at least some responsibility, knowing rejection of a bite can be deadly. Then again, that last point could be a “weed out the weak ones” tactic. 

This is what happens when you have a year break to build up expectations and fics containing perfect pack building.
